Galíndez Leadership at the 2026 HFMA Puerto Rico Golf Tournament

Connection, competition, and community impact came together at the 2026 HFMA Puerto Rico Chapter Golf Tournament. What began as a day on the course translated into meaningful support for a local cause and reinforced the strength of Puerto Rico’s healthcare finance community.

Galíndez participated in the 2026 HFMA Puerto Rico Chapter Golf Tournament, held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Golf & Beach Resort in Río Grande, Puerto Rico. Galíndez was also a proud sponsor of this year’s tournament, supporting the HFMA Puerto Rico Chapter and its community initiatives. Through the collective efforts of sponsors and participants, the event raised $30,000 in support of Hogar Jesús de Nazaret, an organization dedicated to providing care and services to children in need in Puerto Rico.

Each year, the tournament brings together healthcare industry professionals from across the Island for a day of networking and collaboration while supporting a cause that makes a meaningful impact in the community. This year’s tournament also reflects Galíndez’s continued commitment to the healthcare finance industry. Our Audit & Assurance Director, Taireli Hidalgo González, CPA, currently serves as President of the HFMA Puerto Rico Chapter, and Iris Otero, CPA, Partner at Galíndez, serves as Chapter Treasurer. Their leadership roles demonstrate the firm’s active involvement in strengthening the healthcare financial management profession in Puerto Rico.

Galíndez’s leadership team was strongly represented on the course by Consulting Director Carmen Ana Lliteras, CPA, and Partners Héctor Vázquez, CPA; Henry Flores, CPA; and Levi Villegas, CPA. Their participation reflects the firm’s ongoing engagement within the healthcare sector.

In addition to tournament participation, several members of our team also contributed to the organization and execution of the event, including Outsourced Consultant Julio Galíndez, CPA; Partner Axel Ramírez, CPA; and HR Manager Sofía Rivera, who supported coordination efforts throughout the event.

The HFMA Puerto Rico Chapter continues to provide education, professional development, and networking opportunities for healthcare financial professionals across the Island while supporting initiatives that create a tangible impact beyond the profession.

Galíndez remains committed to supporting efforts that strengthen the healthcare financial community and the broader Puerto Rico community it serves.
