27 Aug Galíndez Supports the Work of Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles

Caring for our community also means supporting the organizations that provide resources to individuals and families when they need them.

Representatives from Galíndez LLC recently visited Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles (FSMA) in conjunction with United Way of Puerto Rico, delivering a donation of food and essential supplies to support the Foundation and the communities it serves.

Representing Galíndez were Víctor Pintado, Carmen I. Nieves, Ziomara Ramos, and Sofia Rivera, who had the opportunity to learn more about the Foundation’s work and personally deliver the items collected.

The visit also brought attention to services that play an important role in the well-being of individuals and families throughout Puerto Rico. Emotional and mental health are part of that picture, along with access to counseling, education, prevention programs, evaluations, and family support. Having organizations within our communities where people can turn for guidance and professional services can make a meaningful difference at different stages of life.

The work of Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles responds to many of these needs. The organization provides individual, couples, and family psychological services; counseling; psychometric and psychoeducational evaluations; social work services; educational programs in schools; prevention initiatives; responsible sexuality education; and training related to caregiving and parenting. Its programs serve children, adolescents, adults, and families across Puerto Rico.

For Galíndez, the visit was an opportunity to support this work through a tangible act of giving. It was also a reminder that helping others can be part of what we do throughout the year. Organizations such as Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles rely on community support to continue making their programs and services available to those who seek them.
