05 Nov Running for a Cause: Galíndez LLC at the 2025 CCPA 5K
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, nearly 300 runners gathered at the Atrio Capitol Center Building in Hato Rey to take part in the “Trazando Nuestro Rumbo, Más Allá de los Números” 5K, organized by the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants (CCPA). The event benefited the Autism and Related Disorders Alliance of Puerto Rico, supporting an important cause within the local community.
Representing Galíndez LLC were Kenneth Rivera, Wanda Rodríguez, Taireli Hidalgo, Wendee Torres, and Emmanuel Báez, who proudly joined colleagues from across the accounting profession for an afternoon of wellness, camaraderie, and community spirit.
Before the race, participants enjoyed health clinics offered by Droguería Betances, Ikon Group, and First Medical, along with a special warm-up session led by Miguel Fernández, President of the CCPA San Juan Chapter. Children also participated in their own mini race, bringing an energetic and family-friendly atmosphere to the day’s events.
The race began at 4:00 p.m., taking runners through the streets of Hato Rey before finishing back at the Capital Center Building, home to the CCPA headquarters. To close the day, attendees celebrated with live music by El Golpe, while some runners added a festive twist by dressing up in Día de los Muertos-inspired costumes.
For Galíndez LLC, participation in this event reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting both the accounting profession and the Puerto Rico community through meaningful initiatives that combine health, teamwork, and social responsibility.
