At a recent Internal Auditing Forum for the CPA College of Puerto Rico, FPV & Galíndez presented a significant concern for auditors and the organizations they support, the IT risks within the internal auditing process.
The publication titled “OnRisk 2020: A Guide to Understanding, Aligning, and Optimizing Risk” (“OnRisk Report”) issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors, identified one of the top eleven risks for 2021 for organizations to be Cybersecurity. With this reality, the presentation included where many of the risks come from and how to identify them. We share the summary of that presenation with you.
