What a year it has been! At Galíndez LLC, we’re bursting with pride as we reflect on a year filled with remarkable achievements, unwavering teamwork, and a deep commitment to our community.

A Year of Growth and Impact

We started the year with exciting news—the appointment of Rafael “Rafi” Nieves as our Managing Partner! Rafi’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding us to new heights. We warmly welcomed three fantastic team members—Luis Corrada, Henry Flores, and Héctor Vázquez —to our esteemed Partner circle. Their expertise and dedication have significantly strengthened our team. Former Managing Partner, Julio A. Galíndez, CPA, who has been instrumental in the firm’s success, continued supporting the firm’s growth throughout the year as an invaluable Consulting Partner.

Our impact extended far beyond the office walls. We were honored to share our insights at numerous industry events, including:

We were particularly proud to contribute to El Nuevo Día’s inaugural “Punto de Encuentro” forum, where we shared our expertise and insights with the broader community.

Investing in Our Team

At Galíndez LLC, we cannot stress enough that our greatest asset is our people. Throughout the year, we prioritized professional development through Intensive training sessions that covered the latest tax regulations, auditing requirements, and essential soft skills.

We also enjoyed time together. The busy season bash was just one of the many gatherings that provided a platform for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and fun among our talented team members.

Our well-being initiatives throughout 2024 did not lack either. We brought back some relaxing massage events that promoted stress relief and rejuvenation. A Caribbean must is our coffee breaks, and we provided moments of respite and social connection with a special barista visitor. Of course, as part of our Soft Skills seminars, we also enjoyed team-building activities that helped strengthen camaraderie and fortify our Galíndez positive work environment.

Giving Back to Our Community

Giving back is at the heart of who we are. This year, we were thrilled to continue supporting the fight against cancer by participating in The Susan G. Komen 5k Race for the Cure, a cause close to our hearts.

We engaged more intimately with the community by sharing in United Way of Puerto Rico’s “Regala un Día” initiative. Here, we partnered with CODERI (Colegio de Educación Especial y Rehabilitación Integral, Inc.) to get to know the students better. It was great to understand what work is being done to help these students, and our team donated materials they needed to continue their support of these community members.

Mentoring future accounting professionals has always been very important to our team. In 2024, many of our representatives were looking for new ways to inspire the next generation, so we took advantage of several university campus engagements to chat about what our industry needs and what they can do to support it.

Celebrating Together

Galíndez LLC has many talents, and 2024 showcased our skills with numbers and our hidden skills in basketball, bowling, running, and much more. It was great to see how everyone came to support and cheer on our outstanding athletes.

Our annual Thanksgiving Day Bash at Casa Istella was the perfect culmination of a fantastic year. We celebrated our collective achievements, shared laughter and stories, and strengthened the bonds that make our team so special.

As we look towards 2025, we are filled with excitement and optimism. We are committed to continuing our growth, innovation, and community engagement journey. Thank you to our clients, team, and community for making this year unforgettable.
