Closing out a very active month, Galíndez LLC participated in the XIII CPA Lawyers Conference, held on May 30 and 31, 2024, at the Hotel Royal Sonesta in Isla Verde. The event, organized by the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants (CCPA), brought together professionals from the accounting and legal sectors to enhance their practices through engaging forums and special activities.

Our team was represented by our dedicated dual CPAs and attorneys, including our esteemed partners Kenneth Rivera, CPA, Esq., CVA, CM&AA, CGMA, Iris Otero CPA, Esq., CGMA and Senior Tax Manager Yelitza R. López-Rivera, CPA, Esq. The team led discussions on the latest tax regulations, explaining the ethics rules according to the AICPA Code of Ethics and the State Regulations. Additionally, they spoke about the standards applicable to tax practice, general ethical concepts regarding the use of artificial intelligence, and the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report.
