13 Jan FPVG Pulse Presentation: Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 is a $2.3 trillion spending bill that combines $900 billion in stimulus relief for the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States with a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill for the 2021 federal fiscal year and prevents the government from having to shut down. The bill is one of the largest spending measures ever enacted, surpassing the $2.2 trillion CARES Act, enacted in March 2020. The legislation is the first bill to address the pandemic since April 2020.
FPV & Galíndez presents a thorough analysis of the Consolidated Appropriations Act as a whole and also includes the direct impact and use of this bill for Puerto Rico. Among the highlights of the presentation is a timeline of the various funds made available since the beginning of the pandemic, key metrics of the use of the funds for local businesses, and a beneficial appendix that includes links to forms and documents that can be useful to client’s and owners alike.
It is a pleasure to make this available for your educational need and we invite you to visit other informative presentations that highlight our firm’s endeavors to increase business financial awareness to benefit our clients and the community.
